If you are an Unaccompanied Minor seeking asylum you are entitled to the same support as a Child in Care or a Care Leaver, including advocacy.

Advocates at YAP have supported Unaccompanied Asylum Seekers to:

         Move in to independent accommodation

         Challenge their age assessment

         Attend meetings

         Change placement

        Change social worker

        KNOW THEIR RIGHTS!!

You can ask anyone, including a friend to contact us on your behalf.

If you need help with your English we will provide an interpreter for your advocacy session.
