Having your say

Talk to your carer and social worker about your care and any questions you may have.

Me and my world reviews

Me and My World Reviews, formally known as Looked After Reviews or LAC reviews, are meetings which look at how your care plan is being put into place. They should happen within 28 days of moving into care or moving placements, then after another 3 months and then every 6 months after that until you are 18. Some of the people who will be there are your parents, social worker, carer and teacher.

It is your meeting, so it’s important that you let everyone know what is going on for you. Your carer or social worker can go through a consultation booklet with you to help you think about what you might want to say. You could also have an advocate to support you if you wanted to.
